Privacy Policy

Volodymyr Klymenko built the Anywhere - Offline Music Player app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Volodymyr Klymenko at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Anywhere - Offline Music Player unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Cloud Storage and Network Connections

Connecting a storage account is optional. When you connect an account or select files through Apple's Files interface, Anywhere accesses the information needed to browse and import your music and related artwork and lyrics. Available connections depend on your app version, platform, and the provider. A provider being listed below does not mean that a direct integration is available in every version.

Depending on the connection and the permissions you grant, this information may include your account identifier, name, email address, storage quota and usage, file and folder names, paths and identifiers, sizes, modification dates, and the contents of files you choose to import. Folder synchronization may check selected folders again and download files according to your settings. Account information identifies the connected account; file information supports browsing, downloads, synchronization, and your local music library.

For OAuth connections, you sign in on the provider's authorization page. Anywhere receives access tokens and, where provided, refresh tokens rather than your account password. Saved OAuth tokens are stored in the device's Keychain. Other supported connection methods may require a username, password, application password, session credential, or server address to authenticate with the selected service. Importing through Apple's Files interface does not require you to give Anywhere the provider's password.

Direct storage connections communicate between your device and the selected provider or server. They do not upload your music library to servers operated by me. The provider receives the authentication information and file requests needed to provide access, together with network information such as your IP address. Its processing, including any processing in other countries, is governed by its own privacy policy. I do not sell connected-account information or imported files or use them for advertising.

Downloaded files and library metadata are stored on your device. If you enable sharing, export, or local Wi-Fi access, the files and information you make available can also be accessed by the recipients or devices you allow to connect. Copies included in device backups or exported to other locations are governed by your backup and sharing settings.

Disconnecting Accounts and Deleting Imported Data

You can disconnect a connected account in Anywhere. For OAuth connections, signing out clears the tokens saved by Anywhere on that device. This does not necessarily revoke the authorization at the provider: use the provider's account or security settings to revoke access, or revoke an application password where applicable. For imports through Files, manage the provider connection in its app or in Files. Disconnecting does not close your storage account or delete its remote files.

Imported files and library records can remain after disconnection so that you can continue listening offline. Delete unwanted files and records using the app's library and file-management controls, and remove folder synchronization settings if you no longer want those folders checked. Manage remote originals, backups, and exported copies separately in the service or location that holds them. Do not rely on uninstalling the app to revoke provider access or erase saved Keychain credentials; disconnect and revoke access before uninstalling.

Koofr

When you connect Koofr, Anywhere requests read access to your user information, storage locations, and files. It uses your name and email to identify the account, storage totals to show available space, and file and folder information to browse your storage and shared folders available to your account. It downloads the music and related files you select, including through folder synchronization you enable. These permissions do not allow Anywhere to modify or delete files on Koofr. Koofr access and refresh tokens are stored in the device's Keychain and cleared when you sign out in Anywhere.

Google Drive

This app requests read-only access to your Google Drive account in order to browse and download your music and related files, including through folder synchronization you enable. Basic profile information is used to identify your connected account. Upon connecting your Google Drive account within the application, it utilizes an OAuth access_token to communicate directly with the Google Drive API. The access_token and, where provided, refresh_token are securely stored in your device's Keychain, a protected system storage. The refresh_token is used to obtain a new access_token when needed so that your authorized connection can continue to work.

You have the option to download your personal files from the connected Google Drive account to your device. At any time, you can delete these files from your device. If you wish to revoke access to your Google Drive account, you can do so through the third-party connections settings of your Google Account in a web browser. Additionally, within the application, you can disconnect the connected Google Drive account, which removes the saved access_token and refresh_token from your device. Disconnecting in Anywhere does not by itself revoke authorization on Google's servers or delete your imported files. Do not rely on uninstalling the app to remove Keychain tokens or revoke access; disconnect and revoke access before uninstalling.

The developers of this app do not receive your access_token or refresh_token or gain access to your personal data from Google Drive through this connection. Google account information and imported files are not sold or used for advertising. Files or related information are shared with other recipients only when you choose to use a sharing, export, or local Wi-Fi access feature. The storage, sharing, and deletion practices described above also apply to this connection.

Limited Use Policy Disclosure:

"Anywhere - Offline Music Player" use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. For more information, please refer to the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Connected-account and imported-file information is handled as described above. The app also uses third-party services for functions such as authentication, diagnostics, and advertising, as described below. If you contact support, I receive your email address and the information you choose to send and use it to respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or access tokens.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Privacy policies for app services and optional storage providers are linked below. Storage-provider policies apply when you use the corresponding supported connection or import source; listing a provider does not automatically connect your account or share your library with it. For HiDrive, refer to the company that supplies your account.
